We got a small taster of what to expect when behind-the-scenes pictures and the promotional My New Friend Boy video were released, but we think you’ll agree nothing is better or more exciting than seeing the finished product in all its glory.
Alice Dellal may have initially been an unlikely ambassador for Chanel, but we can’t picture anyone else starring in these ad campaigns now, can you?
Although Alice’s signature half-shaved head is still visible, her hair was made more feminine and romantic (to inject some of the true essence of Chanel into the campaign) with the use of some gorgeous hair accessories such as an oversized black bow and a pearl head-piece
The juxtaposition of the femininity of the hair accessories and Alice’s trademark ‘do is the perfect balance of edgy femininity, which we think is what the Boy Chanel handbag range is all about.
We definitely think the ad campaigns were worth the wait; congrats to Alice and the Kaiser!
