The SPOTLIGHT this week is on a designer who’s taken us out of spring summer’s whirlwind of chaotic print, pattern and sugar rush inducing colours. 1205 brings us pristinely tailored separates with a fresh perspective on pared-back style.

Headed up by Central Saint Martins’ alumna, Paula Gerbase; she first cut her teeth in couture tailoring at the atelier of Hardy Aimes, Savile Row followed by a 5 year stint as head designer at Kilgour, another esteemed tailor of Savile Row.

Driven by the need to introduce a desirable, unisex style to fashion conscious men and women, spring/summer ’12 saw 1205 introduce a stripped back, no-frills selection of tailored pieces in a palate cleansing palette of blue, grey, white and black.
