The Tribeca Film Festival has really brought out some hot red carpet choices this year, and one of our stand-out looks comes courtesy of Freida Pinto.

The gorgeous actress attended the premiere of her latest film, Trishna, and looked smokin’ in a red hot Gucci pantsuit fresh from the pre-fall 2012 catwalk.

Freida accessorised with a daring low cut silk chiffon Gucci blouse, matching black suede platform heels and a black and gold striped Fendi beaded baguette bag which complemented the gold butterfly brooch beautifully.

We’re loving her bright pink lip, too – we bet most would have gone with a scarlet shade, but we think that might have been red overkill, don’t you?

It just goes to show that you don’t have to don a full-on ball-gown to make jaws drop and leave a positive, lasting impression.
