Marie Claire US has only gone and snagged the ever-gorgeous Jessica Alba to be on the front cover of its June issue! The actress is wearing a sexy burgundy number hot off the Versus autumn/winter 2012 catwalk… what do you guys think?
It’s not the most conventional outfit choice for a June cover, but since when did magazine front covers conform, eh?
We know we said we wanted the brightest and cheeriest covers over the next few months (something brought on by our extreme love of Kristen Stewart’s Elle UK June cover) but we can’t fault this one either!
Jess talks to the mag about how her style has evolved over the years, and explains how motherhood has changed the way she dresses.
“There are some women who dress for men. I dress for myself. It took me some time to get here,” she said. “Being a mum and feeling grown-up have helped. Now if I’m going to wear something short, it has to have a high neck or a little sci-fi toughness to it, an edge.”
