Well this was unexpected. Gone are the dark, wintry colours and chunky knits associated with the autumn/winter season, with bright and cheerful pops of colour in their place.
“As you look at the cacophony of colour, print and excess that this Vogue holds, take note: you are looking at your future, or at least next spring’s wardrobe,” Alexandra Shulman writes in her editor’s letter.
Mario Testino has photographed Natalia Vodianova for British Vogue’s final issue of the year, the one the magazine is calling the Pop issue. This not only means a pop of colour, but also pop music (hello One Direction, don’t think that wasn’t the first thing we spotted when we clapped eyes on the cover for the first time), pop-up shops, pop culture and just plain popular people!
We love the concept and can’t wait to get our paws on it! Another great mag to ease us into the December issues!
