Yesterday we treated you to Katie Holmes’ ad campaign for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, and today we’re giving you the first look at Penelope Cruz’s pictures for Spanish leather goods brand Loewe. What are your first impressions?
We reckon the smouldering Spanish senorita is looking pretty sensational for the spring/summer 2013 Loewe ad campaign, which was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott and styled by Joe McKenna. Hats off to everyone! We’re glad the Spanish-ness has remained apparent in the images, as we have a feeling that’s one of the reasons Penelope was so keen to work with the brand.
“It’s a really, really Spanish brand. It has always taken inspiration from the Spanish tradition, Spanish culture and Spanish history,” Penelope said. “I’m really proud to be working with a brand where everything’s done here and almost everybody is Spanish.”
And if you love these pics, the good news is that we’ll be seeing a lot more of them as Penelope has signed a three-year deal with the brand. Exiting stuff. But can they really get any better? Only time will tell!
