One of these days Mulberry might actually release a bag that doesn’t get us all giddy with excitement and make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Unfortunately for our bank accounts, today is not one of those days.

The brand spanking new Primrose collection is being introduced this week, and it’s just as finely crafted as every other luxurious piece of Mulberry arm candy. The bag was inspired by a vintage bag shape, has a structured top handle, cross-body strap and a postman’s lock closure which was updated exclusively for the Primrose.

For the Autumn Winter 2013 season, the Primrose comes in taupe classic calf leather, deer brown or aubergine grainy calf leather, black or bright red polished calf leather (our favourite!) and the sumptuous bright red haircalf.
