Another week, another frock-off between the stars! This week, we’re dissecting one of the more delicate trends taking the red carpet by storm – the sheer dress. Bella Thorne and Kasey Musgraves recently stepped out in the same sheer spring 2014 Blumarine dress, and, well, we had to comment!

Kacey was the first to give the beautifully whimsical dress its red carpet debut at the CMA Awards, earlier this month. Styled with a nude crystal clutch and her tumbling locks worn in glossy curls, the singer looked every inch like red carpet royalty.

Second in line to slip into the Blumarine dress was actress Bella Thorne, who wore said dress to the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Opting to go accessory-free, Bella styled her hair in a braided updo with loose, face-framing tendrils, and soft make-up.

Sheer dresses are challenge to pull off, as they can be draining on the wearer’s complexion, but how well did these ladies fare?

Given the sweet nature of the dress, were totally digging Bella’s complementary hair style, but there’s something about Kasey’s glossy curls and clutch that finish off her look with finesse, so she takes this week’s fash-off champ title!
