Klaxons and party poppers at the ready, Fashion Month has officially begun, so let’s board the virtual plane to the Big Apple to see what New York Fashion Week has to offer!
The start of NYFW got off to a flying start, with autumn/winter 2014 collections from BCBG Max Azria, Coach, Dion Lee, Tadashi Shoji and Creatures of the Wind making their way down the catwalks.
BCBG Max Azria gave us oversized coats and capes that we wouldn’t turn down in this windy British weather, as well as leather blouses, calfskin blazers and more bold and graphic prints than you can shake a stick at. It’s all about print, pattern, texture and size!
Geometric designs were also present on the Dion Lee catwalk, as were smart and sophisticated ensembles that would be perfect for the office. If your office required sartorially chic and savvy employees, obviously. The draped detailing was also a treat for the eyes, too!
Tadashi Shoji presented another stunning red carpet worthy autumn/winter 2014 collection – no surprises there – while Creatures of the Wind went for all things pure and cosmic, apparently.
