If you thought Lupita Nyong’o was going to gracefully bow out of the spotlight for a while after winning her Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in 12 Years a Slave back in March, then you couldn’t have been more wrong.
The actress has got a firm foot in the fashion door after topping multiple best dressed lists during Awards Season and landing a beauty contract with Lancôme… and now it’s just being announced that she will be presenting the most coveted gong at next month’s CFDA Awards. If that doesn’t cement her status as a fashion goddess, then we don’t know what will!
Lupita is the first CFDA presenter to be announced, and will be presenting the Womenswear Designer of the Year award to either Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs or Joseph Altuzarra.
