louis vuitton museum paris

Do you like to head to the Louis Vuitton flagship on New Bond Street and just drool over all the stunning pieces of clothing and accessories?

We aren’t ashamed to admit that we have done this on more than one occasion, so we are beyond-excited to reveal that a Louis Vuitton museum is on its way. That means you’re allowed and somewhat encouraged, even, to stand and stare at all the beautiful pieces of craftsmanship for as long as you want. Pretty cool, right?

LVMH boss Bernard Arnault has enlisted the help of Canadian architect Frank Gehry to design the museum, and has even designed a limited edition Louis Vuitton handbag for the opening.

The Foundation Louis Vuitton museum will be based just on the outskirts of Paris, and is due to open its doors later this year. October 26th, to be exact.

The museum will exhibit the corporate art collection that is currently owned by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, as well as specially commissioned art attractions. The museum building also has an auditorium which means that some of our favourite musicians from Lady Gaga to Beyonce among many others could potentially sing their hearts out in.

We can’t wait!
