Looks like there are going to be some big changes at Net a Porter, as it’s just been announced that Mark Sebba will be stepping down as CEO of the global shopping platform after more than ten years at the helm.
“I am stepping down at a time with the company is stronger than ever,” he said. “We have built a team of world-class writers, communicators, buyers, innovators, digital pioneers, distribution experts and more who form the foundations and DNA of this company.
“Our revenue is growing, we are market leaders and we continue to innovate and raise the bar in terms of our customer experience. We reach an audience globally of over 9m customers across multiple channels: web, mobile and app platforms.”
Mark Sebba has overseen quite a few big changes and projects during his time at NAP, including the launch of brother and sister sites Mr Porter and The Outnet, so it’s safe to say that it has a lot to thank him for. He will still be acting as non executive director while the company finds his replacement to ensure the handover is as smooth as possible.
So who do you think will replace him? We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more!
