Last night’s Scottish Fashion Awards weren’t just about the designers who walked on stage to accept their awards. The presenters, musicians and other famous faces also got a lot of attention too – especially newly confirmed Strictly Come Dancing contestant Pixie Lott!

The 23-year-old singer (and soon-to-be dancer) attended the Scottish Fashion Awards at Northumberland Avenue with her hunky boyfriend Oliver Cheshire, and treated the guests to a surprise acoustic set. But the thing we want to talk about the most is her outfit…

Pixie looked divine in a blue and white satin Christian Dior creation from the spring/summer 2014 collection, proving that elegance and colour-blocking are still very much in style. The pencil dress showed off her sleek and svelte figure – which is only going to get better during her time on Strictly – as well as her maturity.

As much as we love the cute and fun dresses she loves to wear on the red carpet, we definitely think we can get on board with her sophisticated new style.
