It’s been over 10 years since Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck called it quits, but when the singer/actress was asked to comment on her ex-fiance’s recent tattoo during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she had no problem making her true feelings clear.
Talking to Andy Cohen, JLo said of Affleck’s huge back tattoo of a phoenix rising from the ashes, “It’s awful! What are you doing? His tattoos always have too many colors, they shouldn’t be so colorful. They should be cooler.”
As it happens, JLo’s not the only one who’s not too impressed. Ex-wife Jennifer Garner also isn’t a fan…although admittedly she’s a bit more diplomatic about her thoughts.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, the actress finally opened up about her divorce with Affleck and of course about his apparent “mid-life” crisis tattoo…”You know what we would say in my hometown about that? ‘Bless his heart.’ A phoenix rising from the ashes. Am I the ashes in this scenario?”
Ouch…poor Ben…well we don’t think it’s too bad. To each his own, right?
