Keep it Minimal

When deciding to redecorate your home, it’s easy to fall into the trap of cluttering up your rooms with objects and paintings that you do not really need. This can often make a room feel smaller than it actually is and can give the impression of a cluttered home, which is definitely not ideal.

It’s probably best to keep everything minimal, as this gives a room a sense of simplicity to it and keeps it looking classy and stylish. Neutral tones in rooms also help create a sense of simplicity that is attractive and never goes out of fashion.

Hang Up Mirrors On Your Walls

Mirrors are an excellent way to make your home feel more bright and spacious. Not only are they practical for examining your outfit of the day and doing mundane tasks such as applying makeup or styling your hair, but they also make hallway or bedroom walls appear less bare and empty.

Mirrors also bring more light into your home, helping to brighten dark rooms and reflect the outside elements, giving your rooms a magical feel to them.

However, according to the principles of feng shui, you should not hang a mirror directly across from your bed as mirrors reflect energy and this will keep you awake during the night.

If you want something more exciting than just a plain mirror, you could look into wardrobe mirrors or mirrors with designs on them, but these may be slightly more difficult to clean and keep in pristine condition.
