Can we take a moment to appreciate the fabulousness of this picture? Burberry are the gift that just keeps on giving. First they gave us Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne and now we have Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn. Shot together for the first ever time Campbell and Dunn look absolutely amazing for Burberry’s SS15 campaign. Celebrating modern British talent and directed by Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer had only great things to say about the gorgeous pair, “Naomi and Jourdan – two great British icons, two strong, beautiful women and the two perfect faces for our new campaign. Your Facebook timelines and Twitter feeds may have finally stopped being full of ALS Ice Bucket Challenge videos from your friends and celebs, but that might be about to change pretty soon. The UNICEF Wake Up Call Challenge has been dubbed the new Ice Bucket Challenge, and requires participants to snap a picture of themselves first thing in the morning. It’s pretty similar to the No Make-Up Selfie challenge that took the internet by storm earlier this year, but the charity is hoping that more men will take part in this one. And let’s not forget the real and most important reason for doing this. Anyone who takes a pic is expected to donate £5 to UNICEF’s Syria Emergency appeal, and also to nominate three of their friends or family members to help spread the word and raise as much money as possible. The money from the challenge will be helping all the children affected by the Syria crisis – so you know your money will be going to a very worthwhile cause. Naomi Campbell, Daisy Lowe, Nicky Hilton, Claudia Winkleman and Nigella Lawson are just some of the celebs who have already taken part – who else would you love to see? The cast of award-winning show Gogglebox are now celebrities in their own right, but the show may be about to get even more star-studded thanks to the rumoured arrival of Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell! Yep, you read that correctly, the iconic supermodels are due to appear in a celebrity special of the Channel 4 show which peers in people’s living rooms as they watch the hottest TV shows of the week. We thought we had seen all of this year’s coveted September issues when Anna Wintour finally debuted the highly anticipated American Vogue cover earlier this week, but it looks like we forgot one. The Interview September issue – and it’s a good’un! Named The Photographer’s Issue, Interview’s September offering asked six leading photographers to choose anyone they wanted to pose for their own individual cover; and the results are pretty incredible! Patrick Demarchelier picked the ever-photogenic English rose that is Keira Knightley, who can be seen posing in a stunning Donna Karan ensemble with minimal make-up and the quite-hard-to-pull-off wet look hairstyle. Keira managed it though – that goes without saying but the proof is in the pic above! Photography’s dynamic duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott chose one of the most powerful supermodels in the world for their cover… a Balmain-clad Naomi Campbell! Well played, guys! All of the world’s top models from Alessandra Ambrosio to Kate Moss have put their name to a clothing collection or two, so could it now be the turn of the one and only Naomi Campbell? If we are to believe the rumours currently doing the rounds, the answer is a big fat yes! “I’ve been approached by a few brands to design a line for them,” Naomi said. “It’s something that interests me and I’m in negotiations.” That’s as much confirmation as we’re going to get at the moment, but it’s better than nothing, and definitely gives us something to cling onto. Now the real detective work begins. Who do we think Naomi has been in talks with? Will she go super affordable or will we have to save up to own something she has designed? Naomi Campbell is pretty fierce at the best of times, but she was wildness personified at the 25th annual GLAAD Media Awards which took place in Beverley Hills on Sunday night. The fearless (and often fearsome – we’ve all watched The Face!) supermodel wowed in a custom halter-neck animal print Gucci dress, which was as just as fierce as it was feminine. The floaty, girlie fabric of the chiffon maxi dress was juxtaposed brilliantly with the leather detailing found on the neck and waist, and Naomi’s large and in charge hair ‘do and sultry black eye make-up added even more edginess to the ensemble. We love how she kept the rest of her accessories to a minimum, save for some attention-grabbing gold earrings and a few rings on her fingers for good measure.

Last night we were glued to our television screens, waiting in anticipation for the winner of The Face UK – and a Max Factor contract – to be announced. The girl who was victorious was none other than one of Naomi Campbell’s girls – Emma Holmes! Congratulations! The final was pretty intense, as Emma beat off stiff competition from Erin O’Connor’s girl Elaine Nturo, as well as Caroline Winberg’s remaining girl Eleanor Corcoran. So how does Emma feel about winning that coveted Max Factor contract? “I’m excited, I’m really excited! We are already addicted to The Face UK, with the great Erin O’Connor and Caroline Winberg joining Naomi Campbell as judges and mentors on the show. It’s pretty much the only thing we like about Mondays, which is quite upsetting when we remember that it’s nearly as over as the final episode will be screened next week. Sad face! However, we have heard something wonderful this morning that has cheered us right up – and that’s the news that Naomi Campbell has asked the one and only Kate Moss to join her as a judge in the new series. Naomi Campbell has had a pretty impressive career – anyone would be a fool to argue about that or think otherwise. As one of the biggest and most respected supermodels on the planet, she’s cracked the fashion world, and she’s also done her bit for the presenting and mentoring world thanks to her hugely successful TV show, The Face. But now it’s being reported that she just may have been offered her very own talk show… “Naomi recently gave a lot of tough news interviews on the subject of Diversity in Fashion and she excelled and really found her role as intelligent commentator and pundit fulfilling,” a ‘source’ reportedly told the Daily Mail. She’s had offers from Kate Couric, The Today Show and The View for her to be a guest commentator and/or anchor. “Naomi is a supermodel first and foremost, but she’s becoming much more comfortable on TV now and really finding her voice. She’s a perfectionist and if she does give TV a go she’d give Oprah a run for her money!” We know Naomi is a fierce talking, no nonsense kinda gal, but we can totally see her get compassionate and heartfelt for an Oprah style talk show too. Interview’s ‘Model Issue’ doesn’t end with those ladies on the cover though, as inside the issue we can expect to find a portfolio of over 70 other stunning models including the likes of Miranda Kerr, Lara Stone and Alessandra Ambrosio, as well as pics of new faces that we need to watch out for that will undoubtedly take the modelling world by storm in the next few years. Expecting nothing short of perfection from The Super of Supers, Naomi Campbell once again wowed in a stunning Alaïa number. Taking to the (green) carpet at the Novak Djokovic Foundation London Gala earlier this week, Ms. Campbell sported a tiered, silhouette-skimming black dress – one that sat with perfection on her statuesque frame. Glossy, sleek hair, pinned back at the crown and neutral makeup accented with strong, feline eyes made for a stunning evening look. Keeping accessories to an absolute minimum, Naomi opted for tassel-drop earrings and beaming smile to complete the look. Although we wouldn’t normally wax lyrical about a black dress, an Alaïa number with such beautiful detail is an exception – especially when Naomi’s the one modelling it! Naomi Campbell opens Atelier Versace’s Couture show

Nothing makes a bigger statement like getting one of the world’s biggest supermodels to open the Couture show of one of the biggest fashion House’s in Italy, nay, the world. And that’s exactly what Versace did by tapping Naomi Campbell for the Atelier Versace AW13 Couture show in Paris yesterday. It was the first time Naomi walked a Versace catwalk since Gianni Versace’s death back in 1997, so her appearance was a pretty big deal! Well, most Naomi appearances are, but none more so than this! Donatella Versace was inspired by black and white photography of the 1930s, which she then added her own contemporary twist to… a theme which is more than evident when looking at the colour palette and the Great Gatsby nod throughout the collection. The attention to detail is second to none, as is expected from a Versace catwalk outing, and the sparkles, glitz, glamour – not to mention the amount of flesh on display – was very abundant. The finale piece was without a doubt a favourite in the MFL office; do we think any of the celebs in the front row – the likes of which included Emma Roberts and Uma Thurman – might pull it off on a red carpet? We told you back in March that Naomi Campbell’s hit US show The Face was coming to Britain, but we were unsure who would be joining her as fellow mentors. Wonder no more, as it’s been revealed that the gorgeous Erin O’Connor and Caroline Winberg will be acting as judges and mentors on the show, to help Naomi on her quest to find the next big thing in the modelling world. “I’m looking forward to Erin and Caroline joining me on the journey to find the next great face in the modelling world,” Naomi said. “I have worked with them both internationally and they truly understand what’s necessary to make it in the modelling industry. It’s going to be a really inspiring journey and as executive producer on the show I truly believe we will find the face.” Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova did a fantastic job of assisting Naomi on the American version of the show, and we have every faith that Erin and Caroline will be just as entertaining to watch. Naomi Campbell rocked up to The Rockerfeller Centre in New York last night to make an appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon while promoting her new show, The Face. Naomi may have one of the most recognisable faces in fashion, but it was her legs that we (and presumably everyone else who was watching – Jimmy Fallon included, probably) were focusing our attention on. The supermodel wore a gorgeous monochrome dress from Alexander McQueen’s pre-fall 2013 collection, proving that she has still got it and can pretty much get away with wearing anything. Although the dress was paired with some dangerously thigh high boots in the designer’s lookbook, Naomi chose to wear ankle boots instead which was a bold and risky move but we think she made it work for her. If we had her legs, we’d never wear high boots or even trousers again!

Looks like there might be some truth behind that catfight stereotype of models after all. It’s been reported that there may have been a ‘few’ arguments between Naomi Campbell, Coco Rocha and Karolina Kurkova on the set of new modelling show The Face… and we can’t say we’re surprised about it either. According to The Post, host Nigel Barker (the one from America’s Next Top Model) is the only one who stands a chance of breaking things up between the alleged quarrelling models… ‘Nigel is the only one who gets along with everyone,” a source reportedly said. “He’s been left as the host and the referee. You’ve got three models, all at different stages of their careers and different ages, and they are really not getting along. It’s a competition show, and none of them are used to losing.” And that’s not the only info we have on the sitch… “Karolina knows how to deal with Naomi,” another source alleged. “She’s known her for a longer time. Coco clearly knows Naomi doesn’t like her. Naomi’s tough. If you are not kissing her ass, you are dead.” “Naomi doesn’t have to have a reason not to like somebody. She just doesn’t like certain people.” Woah! Looks like the claws are well and truly out. We hope these scenes don’t end up on the cutting room floor as that sounds like some must-see footage! It’s been a few months since they strutted their stuff for the Olympics Closing Ceremony, so we bet Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss were looking forward to their next joint modelling gig. The iconic supermodels are posing up a storm on the front cover of the latest issue of Interview Russia, and just in case you haven’t noticed, they are in fact topless. We don’t think anyone would bat an eyelid these days though, as this isn’t the first topless shoot either of the girls has done – and it probably won’t be the last either. Despite appearing at the Closing Ceremony together, the cover picture – which was shot by the legends that are Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott – is their first one together since a Vogue Paris shoot back in 2008! A Super in a super outfit; it doesn’t get better than that! Leggy beauty, Naomi Campbell graced the red carpet at the royal world premiere of Skyfall, held at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, in an Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 suit. And it definitely was slick tailoring galore, as the supermodel appeared alongside her suavely kitted out Russian billionaire beau Vladislav Doronin, who also opted for a sharp black suit. But Naomi was the real scene stealer, sporting a black suit with white lapels, with the tux-style jacket beautifully fitted at the waist and the trouser in a flared cut – it was a hot alternative to the traditional tailoring seen on the autumn/winter runways this season, Accessorising with an Alexander McQueen clutch (natch) and a rather larger-looking, attention-grabbing crucifix, Naomi kept her hair down with killer bangs to boot. Makeup was signature Naomi: heavy eyes and enough colour on the lips to enhance that world famous smile. Stunningly suited and heeled; Naomi’s look has increased our lust for the trouser suit tenfold!

Remember last month we told you it was a real possibility that Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and their supermodel chums would be walking in a special Olympics Closing Ceremony show? Well it’s now official! Kate and Naomi will be joined by other fab Brit models such as Lily Cole, Georgia May Jagger, Lily Donaldson and Stella Tennant among others; Rosie Huntington Whiteley however, won’t be one of them, as she is apparently keen to move away from modelling and focus on acting. The models will obviously be showcasing designs from our finest British talent, so you can expect to see lots of Stella McCartney, Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood on the runway. In light of the British model’s unparalleled career and timed to Fashion’s Night Out in New York, Dolce & Gabbana celebrated the 25th anniversary of Naomi Campbell’s reign in fashion with a 14-model fashion dance at their Madison Avenue boutique last week. It may have only lasted a few minutes, but Naomi and the 14 female models decked out in Dolce & Gabbana Naomi tees caused quite a commotion as they danced their way around the store and onto the street – famed choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson had arranged the moves and DJ Lindsey provided the beats to the lively affair (complete with an open champagne bar). Naomi Campbell headed back to court?

Don’t worry, she hasn’t hit anyone. Apparently the supermodel could be headed back to court, though , this time over a dispute with the company who help produce her products because she’s cut them out of the pay packet. Moodform Mission, the venture that helped Ms. Campbell produce and market her cosmetics and fragrances, including Naomi Campbell, Cat Deluxe and Seductive Elixir, said it was cut out of its portion of the income last year and sued the supermodel on Monday for breach of contract. Acknowledging it received a share of Naomi’s cosmetics and fragrance revenues from 2001 to 2008, Moodford claimed Campbell has now made millions of dollars from the products , sold by affiliates of Procter & Gamble , of which they haven’t received a penny. The law suit suggests Naomi broke the contract without any justification and began selling the goods under a different licensing agreement, according to WWD. “We think what happened is she just decided to keep all the money for herself and not share it anymore, said Daniel Bright, an attorney representing Moodform. “There was nothing precipitating it. No word from Campbell’s representatives yet, either. Oh Naomi, just as you do good, something bad always has to follow.

Naomi Campbell’s recession worries

Naomi Campbell believes the recession has stopped black models getting work. The outspoken supermodel claims advertising executives are shying away from using ethnic minority models in their campaigns because they “don’t dare” risk losing sales. She told Britain’s Sunday Telegraph newspaper: “This year, we have gone back all the way that we had advanced. I don’t see any black woman, or of any other race, in big advertising campaigns.”
