After what seems like months of waiting – in fact it’s been just two – the first Blake Lively for Chanel Mademoiselle campaign has been released, and it’s every bit as smokin’ as we expected. Fronting the luxury French label’s new Mademoiselle handbag line – which doesn’t look half bad itself – Blake was shot by Karl Lagerfeld for the first in the series of spring campaigns in which she stares seductively into a panelled mirror in a black feathered dress and a patent red quilted bag. The ads are bowing in print mags and online this week and next, and will continue to roll out through until early June, WWD reports. Meanwhile, Blake was in Paris on Saturday to attend Chanel’s private dinner hosted by Karl in her honour – and it seems they make quite the pairing. “I have such a respect for fashion and such an appreciation for it that if there are people like Karl Lagerfeld out there designing, who am I?” she asks. “I want to bow down to them and be a representative for them if they’ll have me.” See below for more reasons to love Ms. Lively: “When I have bad days, I just eat lots of chocolate ice cream and dance to the ‘Lion King’ soundtrack. It’s really odd, but it’s true.” See, she is one of us. She just happens to be better looking. And have a small fortune in the bank.

Gossip Girl goddess Blake Lively donned a eletric blue Pucci dress to pick up the award for Best TV Star. The Hollywood lovely showed off her tanned shoulders and legs in the strapless bandeau dress, complete with miniscule cut-outs and tiered layers through the skirt. Giving a nod to the spring’s hot colour-blocking trend, she teamed the dress with violet mules. For someone who’s been guilty of overdoing the flesh-flashing and overtly sexing it up, it was refreshing to see her looking effortless with natural makeup and loose hair. Hell, we’d be smiling too if we looked like that… Do you like Lively’s laidback luxe look? Let us know below. [poll id=”26″]

Blake Lively may not need to prove herself in the style stakes anymore, but she’s got one hell of a sartorial reputation to keep up. Good thing that she rarely faulters, and this occasion in Prabal Gurung is no exception. Choosing to wear a sand-coloured pleated jersey dress from fashion favourite Prabal Gurung‘s SS11 collection complete with a matching sand skinny belt, Blake looked as effortlessly elegant as we’ve come to expect in the thigh-skimming shift at a private lunch for the cast of her new movie The Town. For an extra dose of laid-back Luxe, Lively layered a lightweight metallic jacket with loosely rolled sleeves over her Prabal piece and kept the neutral tones in check with a pair of rustic gold pumps. She’s got spring style nailed alright. What do you make of her tonal look?

Whilst attending the launch event for the Lorraine Schwartz “2BHAPPY” jewellery collection at Lavo in New York City last week, Blake Lively opted to wear what we’d like to call one of the most gorgeous Versace dresses we’ve ever seen to date – and trust us, we’re not exaggerating. Shimmying straight off the SS11 runway, the bodycon number fitted the young actress like a glove – the corseted upper half and tight fitting pencil skirt couldn’t have created a more snug silhouette – so it’s a pretty good job Blake’s got a body to carry it off. The woven nude basque came complete with ultra thin spaghetti straps, cut-out panels at the ribs and a rather amazing waterfall of cascading fringe detailing, while the matching silky-smooth skirt finished off the outfit to perfection. If only we too could look as beautiful as Blake – well what do you know, we can with this cream lace corset from Net-a-Porter, £370, and this camel-coloured pencil skirt from Topshop, £36.

The 2010 Spike TV Scream Awards was held at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles over the weekend, and with celebs aplenty, the red hot carpet was alive with perfectly polished famous faces – not to mention some equally fabulous frocks to match. One of those catching style-savvy eyes was a certain Blake Lively, who wowed crowds and fellow onlookers alike with her head-to-toe outfit that came, literally, straight off Lanvin’s SS11 runway. A touch of the green eyed monster is certainly come over us MFL girls, but we wouldn’t expect anything less from this international trend-setter. The Gossip Girl star looked stunning in her taupe evening gown, complete with revealing thigh splits and fan-crimped pleats, and though we’re unsure about the insect-inspired dog collar, the tan leather harness gives the outfit an unconventional twist – not to mention complements those LA sun-loving sandals. Bravo, Blake!

She’d been spotted several times last week at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, from having dinner with Karl Lagerfeld to sitting next to Vogue Editor Anna Wintour, but actress Blake Lively made her biggest impression when making her claim for the red carpet at the premier for her new film The Town at Saturday night’s Toronto International film festival. The 23-year-old Gossip Girl star was spotted painting the town red in a scarlet sequin Chanel couture dress, which clung to her in all the right places – and the roses attached to her lower hips gave her an even sexier hourglass figure. Flaunting her endless legs, Blake kept everything matching from the red courts to her lipstick to even the ring on her finger, but although she dazzled us with her sexy image we can’t help but think that maybe this matching look could of been broken up with a bit of black.

It’s no secret that we love Blake Lively’s style, but it’s also pretty well known that she likes to make the most of her, er, assets, and she certainly made sure all eyes were on her chest whilst promoting her new movie Green Lantern at Comic Con over the weekend. Championing British label Preen, the actress wore the Haulster Bra from the brand’s resort 2010 collection teamed with its P.J. Pant – and one hell of a lot of cleavage to accessorise. The problem for us is she’s wearing some killer heels but they’re not really getting the attention they deserve because we just can’t stop staring at her bulging breasts. It’s all a little bit awkward, really. But lets draw our eyes back to the outfit for a brief moment, shall we? There’s a bit of a fussy gathered waistband and, yes, they’re a little bit pirate-ish, but otherwise we love the silk trousers – but the top, though well-structured and fabulously futuristic, shows a bit too much of Blake for us. She could probably lose the earrings too.

Blake gets it spot on with this stunning cobalt blue Marchesa dress at the Costume institute Gala over the weekend, showing off not only her enviable legs but her impeccable eye for fashion too. The one-shouldered mini cocktail dress mixes just the right amount of youthful sexiness with a really on trend detail. The bold colour is divine and really makes for a stand-out dress amongst all of the floor length numbers on show at the evening. The signature Marchesa floral applique is given a real trend-lead feel using dramatic ruffle detailing, and the draped chiffon body makes for a soft contrast. Blake keeps the look fuss-free with sleek pulled back hair and relatively simple makeup, and like all the best-dressed beauties she lets the dress do the talking. She finishes the look with sky-high heels and endless legs – the perfect combination.

Earlier this week, we reported that it looked as if Blake Lively was to step up as the face of Victoria Beckham’s eponymous label but we can now say that these rumours have been well and truly quashed. A spokesperson for Beckham told Vogue: ‘I don’t know where this one has come from – other than from Blake being a fan of the Victoria Beckham collection… She is not Victoria’s ‘Muse’ and there is no ‘face of’ the advertising campaign.’ It’s no doubt that Lively would have made a good model for the Victoria Beckham collection. Afterall, she has already been snapped in that lovely black number from the spring 2010 collection looking like the perfect muse. Oh well. Sorry Gossip Girl fans – this one’s a definite no-go.

If you didn’t get the memo – “velvet is HUGE for autumn”. It’s crept up on us slowly but it’s official, velvet has taken over where suede left off. From skirts (as seen on Victoria Beckham) and dresses (as worn beautifully by Blake Lively) to heels, boots and bags. Take a trip down to your nearest high street and you’ll see velvet on every item possible. But our favourite velvet crush at the moment has to be the blazer. And by the looks of it, we’re not the only ones loving the new take on this essential piece of transitional outerwear. With lots of velvet blazer options available from fitted, to crop and the boyfriend blazer, you wouldn’t be blamed for wanting them all. We sure do. Blake Lively and Charlotte Casiraghi aren’t the only ladies posing for the fine Italian fashion House that is Gucci, oh no. Our very own Kate Moss has appeared in the brand new ad campaign video for Gucci – more specifically for the Gucci Jackie tote. As the name suggests, the Jackie was inspired by style icon Jackie Kennedy, and the short film as a whole depicts the fabulous jet-set lifestyle of the typical Gucci girl. So, sit back, relax, and watch a Jackie-toting Kate Moss get chased by paparazzi (the brand could have just got actual footage from Mossy’s real life if they didn’t want to pay a big photographer fee) while maintaining the utmost class and glamour at the same time. A great watch this Tuesday morning – especially if you want a break from all the Royal Baby and New York Fashion Week news. Does she outrun the paps in the end? Read MoreDavid and Victoria Beckham crowned “celeb couple with the best hair”
David and Victoria Beckham have a lot of things going for them – but it’s their hair that is the focal point of this story as it’s just been revealed that they have topped a Hairtrade.com poll of celeb couples with the best hair. “Victoria and David Beckham are one of the best groomed couples I know,” one of the respondents said. “Victoria has definitely taught her man how to look his best, and what a heartthrob he’s become. “The pair’s hair is impeccable, and we can only hope that the rest of their brood grow up to look just like Posh and Becks.” We couldn’t agree more. Although the one thing we are challenging is the “heartthrob he’s become” comment. Wasn’t Becks always a heartthrob? Posh and Becks got 23% of the total votes, while Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy came second with a respectable 18%. Kate Middleton – she of the permanently luscious locks – only came ninth which kind of surprised us, while Blake Lively – another lady whose hair we lust after – and her hubby Ryan Reynolds secured the sixth spot. Do you agree with the verdict? [Glamour] [Image]

And once again, we think they’ve done a pretty cracking job. Well done, girls! Do you agree or disagree with their choices?

Traditionally, the front rows of fashion shows are reserved for the A-list celebrities and powerful fashion folk (that’s your Blake Livelys and your Anna Wintours to name just two) – but that’s all about to change. Don’t feel like you’re out of the fashion loop if you see a few unrecognisable faces on the Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week front rows this September, as some FROW seats are going under the hammer and will go to the highest bidder – whoever that may be! Watermill Center Summer Auction is auctioning off some Fashion Week packages, with all of the profits going towards the Hamptons gallery which allows artists to exhibit their work for free. So what’s in these exciting packages, you ask? Two front row tickets to the Prada and Giorgio Armani shows, as well as front row tickets and backstage access to the Fendi show. Can you imagine being a fly on the wall as Karl Lagerfeld preps his models just before they hit the catwalk? Such a privilege doesn’t come cheap though, as the bidding starts at an eye-watering $25,000. If you want something a little more, erm, affordable though, Miu Miu front row tickets for Paris Fashion Week are also going under the hammer, with the bidding starting at $10,000. Do you know anyone who might be interested in splashing the cash for a once in a lifetime opportunity?
Read MoreLeighton Meester and new hubby Adam Brody hit the Tony Awards red carpet
We’ve been raving about her former Gossip Girl co-star Blake Lively a lot these past few weeks, but now it’s finally Leighton Meester’s turn to get our sartorial praise. The actress and new Mrs Adam Brody (how cute are they as a couple by the way?) stole the show as she arrived at the Tony Awards, which were held at the world-famous Radio City Music Hall in New York City last night. Leighton wore an absolutely stunning white floor-length Antonio Berardi dress from the pre-fall 2014 collection on the red carpet, with an an Emm Kuo clutch bag and her gorgeous new hubby acting as her only accessories. We love the minimal approach Leighton took for this look, but most of all, we love the retro old Hollywood glamour hair style she chose for the occasion. It complements the dress and the rest of her make-up perfectly, which makes this look absolutely flawless from top to toe. What a great look to kick off the week; the standard has been set pretty high!

We told you a few weeks ago that Joseph Altuzarra was the latest big name to collaborate with Target (and that us Brits would be able to shop the collection from the comfort of our own homes too!) and now it’s time to treat you to a sneak peek at the collection. Call it a Thursday morning treat! The collection actually debuted at Monday night’s CFDA awards if you can believe it, as it was worn by Noria Morales, Target’s director of Design Partnerships (above). You can be forgiven for not spotting it immediately on the red carpet, as anything that wasn’t a sheer dress or Blake Lively seemed to go unnoticed. But we are giving it all o0f our attention now, and we are, quite frankly in love. The dress in question features a daring plunging neckline, a bold orchid print, long sleeves, and a sexy side slit, and gathers nicely in the middle in order to cinch in the waist and flatter the wearer. Gorgeous! We think the entire collection is going to be even more popular now that Joseph Altuzarra won the Womenswear Designer of the Year award at the CFDAs too. We can’t wait to get our hands on this gorgeous and affordable dress. Bring on the rest of the collection!

As Rihanna was collecting a Style Icon gong, it seemed only right that she make an iconic statement on the red carpet – and that’s exactly what she did in a glittering bespoke Adam Selman ensemble with 216,000 Swarovski crystals. Precise! Also impressing on the CFDA red carpet were Blake Lively (no surprises there, especially following her Cannes Film Festival style triumphs), supermodel extraordinaire Heidi Klum, Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o, and a gorgeous Olivia Wilde who still has that pregnant glow despite giving birth a few months ago. All the big names in fashion, film, and music gathered at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City last night, for the highly anticipated Met Gala! This year, the museum was honouring Charles James, and the dress-code was a very simple (albeit slightly “boring” according to Marc Jacobs) “white tie and decorations”. Anyone familiar with the work of Charles James would know that elegant eveningwear was his thing, so they wouldn’t have gone wrong by donning the finest couture pieces with some elegant jewels. There were many ladies who absolutely nailed their looks, while some probably should have stayed home. Stella McCartney had a big moment on the red carpet, dressing the likes of Rihanna and Reese Witherspoon so flawlesslessly for the event, in two very different but equally stunning dresses. Rihanna went for her signature sexy look, while Reese was a vintage glamour goddess. Selena Gomez also wowed on the red carpet for us, looking very mature for just 21 years old in a bold deep purple Diane von Furstenberg dress. We also love how Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were reunited at the Met Gala – they both looked amazing in their respective Gucci Premiere and Emilio Pucci dresses. Not all of the ladies went for full-length or ballgown dresses (like Hayden Panettiere who looked like a Princess!) though – Solange Knowles and Lena Dunham were just two of the stars who went for something a little bit shorter. The impact definitely wasn’t lost though. Here are our best dressed celebs from last night’s Met Gala. Let us know who gets your vote in the comments below. We don’t know what products Zoe will be promoting, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it was something in the skincare or make-up category given her flawlessness. Then again, she has some pretty enviable locks too so it really is anyone’s guess. Watch this space!

Read MoreNew York Fashion Week AW14 highlights from Jenny Packham, Vera Wang, Proenza Schouler & more
New York Fashion Week has well and truly got us geared up for London Fashion Week which kicks off tomorrow! The last of the shows – from Michael Kors to Oscar de la Renta to Jenny Packham, and more – certainly didn’t let us down, as we were met with everything from red carpet Oscar-worthy ensembles to essential winter cover-ups to all else in-between. Kate Middleton’s Jenny Packham look at the National Portrait Gallery was an exellent reminder of how wow-worthy the designer’s pieces can be – a thought which was only reiterated when we saw the autumn/winter 2014 collection float down the runway. Although the collection was reportedly inspired by Bianca Jagger, there were sartorial influences dating as far back as the 1930s in the collection; the glittering gold dress was a particular favourite of ours, and one which we predict might appear on an awards season red carpet this year. Vera Wang, who has dressed a number of our fave A-listers including the most recent celeb bride Kaley Cuoco who went against the grain and opted for a pink wedding down, went for romance – but not as we know it. Dark romance was the theme for the designer’s autumn/winter 2014 collection, with lots of black and charcoal coloured pieces making their debut on the Big Apple catwalk. There was also an abundance of tartan – a definite AW14 trend we need to look out for over the next few weeks! Although Blake Lively and Freida Pinto were among the famous faces who sat on the front row wearing some very feminine and floral Michael Kors spring/summer 2014 pieces, the designer’s latest collection had a hint of androgyny about it. Rich, luxe fabrics were juxtaposed with casual cool tailoring, offering us a very covetable autumn/winter collection that we’ll […]

Wonderful news to wake up to this morning, as it’s just been announced that Kristen Stewart is the new face of Chanel! Kristen will be photographed by none other than Karl Lagerfeld himself for the 2013 Métiers d’Art Paris?Dallas collection campaign, and naturally had a front row seat for last night’s western-inspired Metiers d’Art show in Texas. The former Twilight star follows in the footsteps of the gorgeous Diane Kruger, Blake Lively and our very own English rose Keira Knightley as a Chanel campaign star, so she’s definitely in good company. She’s also the face of Balenciaga’s Florabotanica fragrance, so she’s obviously had some practice posing for a big fashion ad campaign. The Métiers d’Art Paris?Dallas collection campaign is slated to break in May next year, so keep your eyes peeled. Congrats to Kristen on her new fashion job; we can’t wait to see the ad campaign! It’s often said that a smile is a girl’s best accessory, and the prettiest thing she can wear – and that’s something that we have always stood by. We think maintaining a healthy mouth with regular trips to the dentist and vigilant brushing are just two of the ways of ensuring that your smile is as infectious as possible (in a good way, not in a chicken pox way – obviously!), as well as accentuating your lips by way of some essential cosmetic products. Lip liner, lipstick, lip balm and lip gloss – no make up bag should be complete without those four crucial items in a variety of different shades. And as with most things, we can’t help but turn to some of the greatest names of Tinsel Town for smile-spiration, and we’ve selected five of our favourite smiles for you to try and identify above. Read MoreLeighton Meester named Biotherm Global Brand Ambassador
Although her co-star Blake Lively has been on countless red carpets and front rows, we haven’t seen much of Leighton Meester since Gossip Girl sadly came to an end. However, it’s just been revealed that she has been named the global brand ambassador for L’Oreal owned skincare brand Biotherm… which should hopefully fill the Leighton Meester void quite nicely. “What I love about Biotherm is it’s always evolving and changing and becoming more modern,” Leighton said in a statement. “Leighton Meester is a contemporary icon, a young star whose natural talent, energy and beauty have made her the face of a generation,” added Patrick Kullenberg, a spokesperson for Biotherm International. The 27-year-old actress seems like the perfect brand ambassador with her seemingly flawless and blemish-free skin; have you ever seen her have a bad face day? We can expect to see the first of her ad campaigns from the start of next year. [WWD]

Doesn’t Suki Waterhouse scrub up well? We can definitely see what Bradley Cooper sees in her, even if we are a little bit jealous. (Just a little bit though…) The 21-year-old Brit model flew the flag for British fashion by opting to wear a gorgeous metallic emerald Aurora dress from the Mulberry autumn/winter 2013 collection while attending a British Airways event in Los Angeles last night. Suki’s sartorial choices are usually on the edgy side, so it doesn’t surprise us to see her in some tough ankle boots, a waist cinching black belt and feline eye make-up. Although we love the bed-head unsmooth hairstyle that so many of our fave girls sport (Blake Lively, Alexa Chung, the list is practically endless) we adore this sleek, slicked back pony tail that Suki is rocking. Especially as she’s working the two-tone ombre trend at the same time too. A great look that she put her own personal stamp on; we couldn’t ask for anything more!

And the collections showing on the first day of MFW included Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, DSquared2 and Luisa Beccaria. Alberta Ferretti took flower power to a whole new level, and went beyond her signature softness that we associate her collections with. Although there were minimal feminine pastels in floaty romantic pieces which opened the show, they were juxtaposed with vibrant, bold shades and patterns as the show went on, proving that she is stepping out of her comfort zone and branching into more vivid and adventurous territory. Blake Lively, the face of Gucci Premiere, was of course present on the front row for the fashion House’s spring/summer 2014 show, and we definitely think she eyed up a few potential red carpet outfits from the selection that came out on the runway. Or maybe even gym outfits, as the collection had a somewhat sporty aesthetic to it. Backless garments were once again very prominent on this catwalk (it was a recurring theme in New York and in London this season), as were loose-fitting dresses and seventies inspired silhouettes. When Blake Lively covered Lucky’s September issue, she said she enjoyed it so much because it allowed her to wear and put together clothes she wouldn’t normally choose herself. We think that’s the beauty of bringing in hot magazine stylists for cover shoots – but we don’t think that’s what happened when Zooey Deschanel sat for Tesh for the Marie Claire US September issue. The gorgeous 33-year-old New Girl actress was rocking her usual attire of oversized knits and tights for many of the editorial images, and although we think she looked incredible (as she always does in our opinion) we would have preferred a far more adventurous photoshoot. We are loving the sparkle though! And we also love Zooey’s accompanying interview as she spoke to the mag about her speech, hating crowds and her website HelloGiggles.com… “I just felt it’s important to teach young girls to be strong people, to not think, I can’t do this because I’m worried about what people will say,” she said. “There are worse consequences, but online negativity stops people from being creative, part of which is having bad ideas as well as good ideas. “When somebody says, ‘That idea’s stupid,’ you stop your flow of ideas. We can’t have the next generation be so afraid because they have been attacked.” Marie Claire US’s September issue is out August 13th.

Congratulations to Kerry Washington, as the stunning actress has just been given the coveted top spot in Vanity Fair’s prestigious Best Dressed 2013 list. Do you guys agree with the magazine’s choice? Predictably, Kate Middleton and Victoria Beckham also made the list, coming third and sixth respectively. Other ladies who inevitably made the list are Gisele, Beyonce, Dita von Teese and Charlize Theron, who secured the seventh, 11th, 27th and 34th spots. The blogosphere has expressed its disappointment that Michelle Obama didn’t make the list, and we definitely feel the same way as the First Lady has been on fire this year as far as her sartorial choices are concerned. The red hot Jason Wu dress that she wore to the Inauguration Ball alone was best-dressed worthy, don’t you think? We’re also pretty miffed that the likes of Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo, Jessica Alba, Blake Lively and Miranda Kerr were omitted given their enviable styles. Click here to check out the full list and let us know who else you think should have been included.

Yee-hah – MFL and Christian Dior fave Jennifer Lawrence has only gone and landed the coveted September issue cover of American Vogue! 2013 is definitely Jen’s year; first a ‘Best Actress’ Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook and now the Vogue September cover. Surely it doesn’t get better than this, does it? Ms Lawrence was photographed by Mario Testino, and we’re willing to bet good money that she will be rocking some Christian Dior threads on either the cover or the accompanying editorial. In fact we think she outfit she wore to the label’s Couture show at the weekend (above) is totally fashion Bible ready! Some of the other fashion glossy September stars have been revealed too; Kate Upton has been photographed by Carter Smith for Elle, while Jennifer Aniston was shot by Alexei Hay for Glamour’s offering. Marie Claire has gone with New Girl Zooey Deschanel, while Lucky has tapped former Gossip Girl Blake Lively. What do you think of the line-up so far? No catwalk models just yet… watch this space! Read MoreThe Met Gala 2013 – PUNK: Chaos to Couture red carpet roundup!
Forget the Oscars, the biggest, most fashionable night of the year is of course the Met Gala (or Met Ball, whichever you prefer) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and this time round the theme was “Punk: Chaos to Couture”. This meant that there was an abundance of spikes, safety pins, short and fierce hair, and bags and bags of attitude… and the lucky A-listers who managed to secure an invitation to the prestigious event most definitely brought their sartorial A game on the red carpet. Celebs with short hair had a particularly easy ride as far as interpreting the punk theme was concerned as the likes of Karlie Kloss and Miley Cyrus really embraced it with their respective hairstyles. Sarah Jessica Parker didn’t let a little thing like long hair deter her from going all-out though, as she donned a fabulous Philip Treacy headpiece that was just as punk-rock as it was Carrie Bradshaw. Anne Hathaway finally got her Valentino red carpet moment this year – we definitely think she made up for not wearing his dress at the Oscars. We reckon she will be one of the hottest points of conversation, as she truly embraced the theme by channeling Blondie’s Debbie Harry and bleaching her hair blonde. Take a look at some of our stand-out looks: Beyonce in Givenchy Anne Hathaway in vintage Valentino Cara Delevingne in Burberry Amber Heard in Emilio Pucci Kristen Stewart in Stella McCartney Sarah Jessica Parker in Giles Deacon and Philip Treacy Miley Cyrus in Marc Jacobs Taylor Swift in J Mendel Katy Perry in Dolce and Gabbana Rooney Mara in Givenchy Amanda Seyfried in Givenchy Couture Karlie Kloss in Louis Vuitton Hailee Steinfeld in Donna Karan Atelier Dakota Fanning in Rodarte Coco Rocha in Emanuel Ungaro Nina Dobrev […]

Read More“I don’t like jealous behaviour” – Scarlett Johansson, Marie Claire US May
Oh thank you magazine Gods for giving us this gorgeous May cover! The ever-sexy seductress that is Miss Scarlett Johansson has been tapped for the May cover of Marie Claire US and we are absolutely in love with it! ScarJo is looking the epitome of Hollywood perfection on the cover (and in each and every editorial picture), and also gives a great interview – and yes, that does include opening up about her 2010 divorce from Blake Lively’s new hubby Ryan Reynolds… “Well, it wasn’t that long ago,” she said. “But I think I’ve had a fair amount of time to process the experience and be able to move forward. I continue to get to know myself better as I get older, and that helps me in my relationships.” That’s our girl! So bearing all of the above in mind, what new tips does ScarJo have to share? “I don’t like jealous behaviour,” she continued. “I don’t mind an occasional check-in, but when somebody is passive-aggressively jealous, it’s really unattractive because it shows a sort of insecurity. Controlling behaviour is awful. Nobody’s going to say they love that.” We hope Scarlett’s new beau Romain Dauriac is taking notes! Scarlett’s Marie Claire US May issue hits newsstands on April 16th.
Read MoreEmmy Rossum champions the British High Street in dazzling Topshop dress
Demi Lovato isn’t the only famous fan of Topshop – Emmy Rossum seems to be quite keen on it too! God bless Philip Green! We always get a warm and fuzzy feeling when we see celebs taking to the red carpet in Topshop… after all, they have so many designer options at their fingertips that they could wear absolutely anything they wanted… so the fact that they choose Topshop proves that the high street store is still doing something right! Emmy Rossum attended the iHeartRadio 20/20 album party (yes that is Justin Timberlake’s new album… we feel it definitely deserves a party too!) wearing a green and white embroidered dress from the Little Dresses section of the store. Akin to Blake Lively, Emmy also rocks those white shoes like a pro – no hint of Essex style here! We can’t fault her look; the chic but slightly messy updo, the glittery eye make-up and even the white manicure all equal sartorial perfection!
Read MoreLaurence Dacade Glitter Leather Ankle Boots: Yay or Nay?
Some would declare these seriously statement-making boots a ‘foot party’, others may be a little more reserved about sporting a pair. But if the ‘fun’ element in footwear is missing, then what’s the fun in wearing shoes, right. Potentially a modern take on Dorothy’s glitter shoes from the original Oz movie, the glitter ‘Pete’ boots by lust-worthy shoe couturier, Laurence Dacade are made for gawking at. Gold glitter demands a wardrobe warrior to tackle it; someone who is brazen enough to boot the boring (pardon the pun) and wear this eyeball hurting pair with the chutzpah of ADR, so we decided to weigh the pros and cons of owning this bootie-licious pair, below. YAY Statement investment: If you’re looking to inject a little durable, real leather fun into your wardrobe, the ‘Pete’ boots may be just the thing you need to liven up that all-black ensemble. Decent heel: A boot with the perfect heel is hard to come by: too high, you’re screaming in pain; too low, you’ve just wished away the extra inches that could’ve given you Blake Lively legs (well, sort of). At 3.9 inches (to be really precise), the ‘Pete’ boot is a well-heeled (pardon the pun) middle ground. Classic shoe shape: The ankle boot is having quite a moment, going perfectly with almost every item in our wardrobes, that shoe designers are festooning pairs in every which way. The ‘Pete’ boot combines a trend-frolicking look with a perennially stylish shoe shape. Perfect. NAY Colour: Gold isn’t necessarily the easiest colour to pair with the contents of your wardrobe, especially if you’re a colour and print enthusiast. All-black/grey/navy lovers, rejoice. Price: The French shoe designer isn’t particularly famed for financially friendly price tags, but you have to consider the cost-per-wear issue here, before diving in with the […]
Read MoreNew York Fashion Week AW13 highlights from Marchesa, Michael Kors, Elizabeth and James & more
The penultimate day of New York Fashion Week saw the debut of autumn/winter 2013 collections from the likes of Marchesa, Michael Kors, Reed Krakoff, Anna Sui, Proenza Schouler and Elizabeth and James among others. We love a good Marchesa collection – and we bet big-name A-listers like Blake Lively and Sofia Vergara always watch intently predominantly for the purpose of scoping out their next red carpet outfit. We think they’ll find quite a few lust-worthy gowns to cater to their tastes… who’s your money on for donning that red dress above? Having gone for the sophisticated modern woman look for their The Row collection a few days earlier, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen went for the toned down, relaxed, casual girl about town look for sister line Elizabeth and James. The loose-fitting and oversized pieces are still in keeping with the twins’ personal styles though, so it’ll be interesting to see how they incorporate them into their own looks. We’re officially on street style stalking mode! Michael Kors went for something a little bit different for his latest offering. To quote the show notes: “You are fast-paced, athletic, and chic. You race all over from the Lower East to the Upper East Side…Make them die with envy!” Yep, we can see where he’s coming from! Michael Kors Reed Krakoff Elizabeth and James Proenza Schouler Anna Sui

It’s safe to say, 2012 has been a positively chaotic year on many accounts: stealthy fashion musical chairs; the news of a 2013 royal tot, surprise (read: secret) weddings and a fair amount of heartbreak ensued. But one thing far more exciting than all of these juicy prospects combined is the FASHION we witnessed. From Miranda Kerr’s uber-stylish taxi-to-hotel hop, all endless, perfectly bronzed legs and the hottest off-duty ensembles imaginable, to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s ravishing red carpet looks, not forgetting some equally hot lingerie! Diane Kruger left us in a state of fash-induced hyperventilation, thanks to that Christian Dior couture gown whilst Emma Stone really established herself as the unturned stone (excuse the sorrowful pun) of fashion: she.looked.HOT. From Tom Ford to Trapstar, Rihanna has us on trend-led tenterhooks with every outfit she stepped out in, and Alexa, well, she’s just too stylish to even discuss, right? It was the probably the hardest thing we had to do – alongside trying to remember to use Saint Laurent instead of Yves Saint Laurent, and digesting news of R-Patz and K-Stew’s brief split whilst admiring her red carpet looks – but choosing our 10 best dressed celebs of 2012 was a limiting task. After much thought, picking and choosing, editing and loudly conversing (read: arguing) over frills, hems and necklines, we’ve whittled it down to our Top 10. Here’s to 2012’s best dressed ladies…. Taylor Swift Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Rihanna Miranda Kerr Kristen Stewart Emma Stone Diane Kruger Blake Lively Anne Hathaway Alexa Chung Who was your best dressed of 2012?
Read MoreJennifer Lawrence voted the ‘world’s most desirable woman’
She blew us away in The Hunger Games and all her respective promotional work on chat shows, red carpets and magazine covers, so it comes as no surprise to learn that Jennifer Lawrence has been voted the world’s most desirable woman in a poll conducted by men’s mag Askmen.com. Congratulations to the 22-year-old actress are most definitely in order! “Overall, there’s a sense that she’s a little more authentic than other actors,” said James Bassil, the editor-in-chief of the mag. “She’s fresh because we haven’t seen her all over the gossip pages for the past three or four years.” Jennifer beat stiff competition from the likes of Mila Kunis, Kate Upton and Rihanna (who respectively came second, third and fourth). Sofia Vergara, who was last year’s winner, slipped down to 12th place. Click here to check out what other ladies made the list, and to find out how Emma Stone, Miranda Kerr, Blake Lively and our very own Cheryl Cole ranked. Do you agree with the voters? [Daily Mail]
Read MoreAmanda Seyfried and Dianna Agron rock Miu Miu for the PFW show
Blonde cuties Amanda Seyfried and Glee’s Dianna Agron were sitting pretty on the Miu Miu FROW yesterday, and we reckon that both girls looked gorgeous in their respective Miu Miu ensembles. We’ve seen a few ladies rock the red tux recently, namely Blake Lively and Rihanna, but it was Amanda’s turn to give it a go … and we think she nailed it! Do we think she gave Mrs Reynolds and Ri-Ri a run for their money? We’re going to say “yes” purely because we admire her for being brave enough to try the dark, gothic lipstick – which she pulled off with complete and utter ease! While Amanda went for vampy sex-goddess, Dianna’s outfit was more on the adorable side, as she looked like she stepped right out of a time machine from the 60s. She’s a versatile dresser and that’s exactly what we like to see from the young Hollywood stars. Again, the purple tights and beehive hair could have looked wrong on so many people, but thankfully Dianna isn’t one of them! Who’s your fave?
Read MoreAnne Hathaway marries Adam Shulman!
Looks like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds aren’t the only couple to shroud their nuptials in secrecy, as Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman tied the knot during an intimate ceremony at the weekend! Huge congratulations, guys! The wedding took place on the beautiful coast of Big Sur, California, with approximately 100 close friends and family members in attendance. As we told you last week, Anne’s wedding dress was designed by Valentino Garavani, and thankfully some pics have been released so we can see the full extent of his masterpiece. The bride predictably looked phenomenal, wearing her custom made off-the-shoulder gown with intricate lace embroidery, a full-length veil and a vintage-inspired headpiece. Exquisite! Once again, massive congratulations to the happy couple! Do you like her wedding dress? [People] [Image]
