Olive Oil There’s lots to love about olive oil. It contains antioxidants and healthy fatty acids that are good for your body. It can soothe the driest of skin and if you spend enough time rubbing it in, you’ll find everything gets softer almost instantly after the first time you use it. Dab a thin layer of olive oil under your normal moisturizer. About half hour before you shower, rub it on your hands, legs, and other areas and massage it in. Take a shower and apply light moisturizer after. Mix two tablespoons of olive oil and four tablespoons of fine brown sugar. The brown sugar is an exfoliant, and it helps you get rid of some of that dry skin. The olive oil will get into your skin and soften it. Milk Cream The lactic acid in milk cream helps exfoliate your dry skin. The soothing nature of it also helps protect and preserve the natural pH of your skin. Milk cream is also an excellent moisturizer, and will soak into your upper layers and help smooth everything out. Mix a few drops of lemon juice and one teaspoon of milk, along with two teaspoons of milk cream. Rub this mixture into your skin. Leave it on before you take a shower and wash normally. Do this once per day. Add enough milk cream to three or four tablespoons of gram flour. This makes a thick paste. Now, apply the paste to your face and hands and legs. The Snowflake Ball Ingredients: 50ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin 15ml lemon juice 15ml lime juice 1Ž2  an egg white 15ml double cream 3 dashes of orange flower water 15ml sugar syrup Cinnamon powder Top with soda Method – add all ingredients but the soda to a shaker and half fill with cubed ice. Shake! And keep shaking until the ice has nearly all gone – strain into a hiball glass with no ice and top with soda until it begins to foam over the top of the glass. Garnish with cinnamon powder. Units – 2.1 Cîroc Christmas Punch (Created by Andrew Shannon at London Edition) Ingredients 35ml Cîroc Vodka 10ml Irish Whisky 5ml Evangelista Ratafia 20ml Fresh Lemon Juice 50ml Fresh Pressed Apple Juice 2 Dashes of Bokers Bitters 25ml Edition Mulled Wine Syrup Method Build the ingredients over a glass or punch bowl over ice. In a pan simmer for 10 minutes; 1 bottle of red wine, 1x cinnamon stick, 2x star anise, 20x cloves and 250ml of sugar to create the syrup. Add 25ml of the syrup to the glass or punch bowl. Garnish with a dried orange slice and cranberries Winter Tanqueray Collins Ingredients: 50ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin 15ml Sugar Syrup Fever Tree Soda Water Whole Fresh Lemon Whole Fresh Pear Method: Fill a hi-ball glass with ice cubes. Cut a fresh lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a shaker, add half a pear and muddle in the shaker. Pour in the Tanqueray and syrup and shake hard to break up the pear. Strain into the glass and top up with newly opened bottle of soda, decorate with a lemon wedge and slice of pear, then enjoy. So, naturally, we expect nothing short of a super-stellar front row attendance, too Involved in a fierce frock-off this week are Keira Knightley and Rihanna, and you know it doesn’t get more bring-your-A-game than this pair of Chanel darlings. Arriving at the autumn/winter 2014 show in Paris, both ladies rocked waist-accentuating numbers, making it pretty damn difficult to pick between the two! Although she’s clarified that she won’t repeat-wear her Chanel wedding dress, Keira Knightley still brought all the ‘double C’ charm to the front row. Dressed in a monochromatic cropped dress, her tiny waist made for the main attraction, beautifully accompanied by pointed gold pumps and a teensy chain-strap Chanel bag, natch.
